Cast iron straight edge is premature damage or there is something wrong in precision grade because of improper use. We should pay more attention in using and storage in order to increase its service life.

When using, handle cast iron straight edge with care, do not move them on the irregular surface in case of any friction trace happen which influence the cast iron straight edges’ precision grade. When welding, shaking or knocking the workpieces, please remove the straight edge. Well - distributed with strength to close to the inspected equipment when inspection.

Vertical hanging cast iron straight edge in case of any deformation happened because of uneven stress.

Inspect cast iron straight edge regular and grinding on standard cast iron surface plate when there is something wrong in precision grade.
If there is temperature change, place 24-48 hours before using cast iron straight edge.

After using, clean it by cloth, then coating rust - proof oil, at last storing in box.

Do not store cast iron straight edge at humid, corrosive and too high or too low temperature condition
