Rust repair of grinding surface plate and matters needing attention when suing

There will be rust and corrosion if grinding surface plate can not be kept properly in using process. In order to not influence our use, how to repair it?

If you have no high requirement about the precision grade, polishing is ok; attention put the polishing machine flat in case of bigger damage happen. If have two grinding surface plate with same sizes, grinding each other repeatedly is also a good choice. Other way is scraped by people until get the satisfied precision grade.

If you have a higher requirement about the precision, we need to get back to the factory, first fine machining, using three pieces cast iron surface plate grind, then coat abradant, grinding by each two pieces, until three pieces all reach precision grade 0, we can get it back and put into use.

Attention please: when grinding each two pieces surface plates, please operate by professional person in case of any damage happen.
