2. The surface plates can be divided into Cast iron surface plates, granite surface plates and steel surface plates following the raw material.

3. Following uses the surface plates can be divided into Inspection surface plates, Lineation surface plates, Measuring surface plates, Assembling surface plates, Welding surface plates, Experimental surface plates, inspectional surface plates, T-slot surface plates, rivet Welding surface plates, etc.

4. The surface plates can be divided into 00, 0, 1, 2 and 3 following precision grade. Precision grade 00 and 0 is for granite surface plates; precision grade 1 in Cast iron surface plates is for Inspection surface plates, 2 is for Lineation surface plates, 3 is for surface plates in other uses. We do this in order to be sure the process performance and intrinsic quality of high precision surface plates.
